a recent New Yorker living in Chelsea it has been hard to find good
places to eat – good as in inexpensive, good quality and delicious.
Tia Pol is actually a place that I encountered on a business trip a
couple of years ago but glad to see is still around. The Tapas place
is small and fills quickly for good reason so if you want a seat you
need to get there early (and they don't take reservations). The staff is very friendly and always has
good recommendations. The wine list is varied and I'm always
discovering new Spanish wines I haven't tried before – all around
$8-12 dollars a glass. The food is very consistent and doesn't break
the bank at $7-15 per plate.
