WNYC's Leonard Lopate had a great little interview on Monday with Momofuku's David Chang. Chef Chang discussed his influences, the most exciting to me being the movie Tampopo and the original Wagamama's in London. It's nice when my personal inspirations line up exactly with a brilliant chef.
Chef Chang was on to pitch his new cookbook, simply titled Momofuku, and WNYC was kind enough to post two of the recipes - Ginger Scallion Noodles and Cauliflower with Fish Sauce Vinaigrette.
